DVD And DVD Burner Drives
DVD Drive
It is very nice to be able to watch your DVD movies on your computer. It is also nice to be able to play all of the special features on those DVD Movies that require a computer to be able to access. We reccomend the Sony CRX320A Internal IDE CD-RW / DVD-ROM Drive.
DVD Burner Drive
One nice feature of a DVD Burner Drive is that it also will burn CD's. There are two different standards out there on DVD Burner's. They are DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW. You should look for a drive that offers both burning formats, as well as a drive that can go up to 8X speed burning on the DVD burning. We recommend the Sony Internal ATAPI EIDE DVD+RW Drive (DRU530A). It offers the fastest speeds available, as well as burning DVD's in both formats that are available.
