Setting up a small network with Windows XP Home Edition is a simple task in itself. Things that can make setting up a network a little more difficult would be if you have special programs that act as a software firewall. If you have this type of software, and even hardware, you will need to configure the firewall on each computer and/or device, to allow for traffic to be allowed between the different computers that make up the workgroup.
