Transferring Favorites

Favorites can be transferred from user profile to user profile, whether it be on the same computer or transferred to a new computer.

To Copy Favorites

Right click on the Windows "Start" button.

Click Explore.

This opens up to the user's profile that is currently logged in.

Click the Favorites folder.

From the top menu, click Edit.

Click Select All.

If a box comes up that says there are one or more items hidden, click OK.

Click Edit.

Click Copy.

You can paste the favorites to any location you choose. You can navigate up to another user's profile or the All User's profile, and right click their favorites directory, and click paste.

You can copy those items to a network location of your choosing by right clicking this location and choosing Paste.

You can copy these items to the floppy drive or another disk drive by right clicking the drive letter and clicking Paste.

If you are transferring these files to a new system, you would log into the system to create the profile if you haven't already done so. Then Paste these items into your newly created Favorites directory by following the instructions above.
